Bio
Sabrina is a PhD student from Gussago (BS) in Aerospacepace Engineering. She studied Mechanical and Materials Engineering (Bachelor) and Mechanical Engineering (Master) at the University of Brescia. Her Master focused on Biomechanical Engineering, and she graduated with an experimental thesis about bioprinting. During the Master, she was involved in a double degree program with the Georgia Institute of Technology. Thanks to this, she spent 6 months at Georgia Tech’s European campus in Metz (FR) and one year at the main campus in Atlanta (GA), earning a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering. She is now pursuing a PhD in Aerospace Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano at the DART Lab under Prof. Fabio Ferrari, in the context of the LUMIO mission. Her interests are camera vision and image processing, CubeSats, the Moon-Earth environment, and meteoroid dynamics.
