Gabriele Nuccio is currently a Ph.D. student in Aerospace Engineering at DART Lab, Politecnico di Milano where he is working on robust trajectory design for future space missions via nonlinear covariance steering. His research focuses on astrodynamics, trajectory optimization, stochastic optimal control, and autonomous GNC. He received his B.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2023 and his M.Sc. in Space Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2026, graduating with highest honors. From July 2025 to January 2026, he was a visiting graduate researcher at the Oguri Research Group, School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Purdue University, where he developed his M.Sc. thesis on robust trajectory optimization for icy moon exploration.
