Bio

Andrea Pizzetti holds a MSc degree in Space Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. From 2021 to 2023, he worked as GNC/AOCS engineer at Deimos Space (Madrid). Since 2023, he is a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Francesco Topputo. He spent 6 months as a Visiting Student Researcher at Jet Propulsion Laboratory (Pasadena). His research focuses on the design of autonomous vision-based navigation systems for deep-space applications and their Hardware-In-the-Loop validation. He is the main developer of ABRAM, a physically-based render engine tailored for the space environment.
