Alessandro Costa is a PhD student in Aerospace Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. He holds a MSc in Space Engineering and BSc in Aerospace Engineering both from Politecnico di Milano. He worked on the project EXTREMA during his research fellowship at the DART research group. He is currently part of the SPACE IT UP! project for his PhD. The research focuses on the development and deployment of alghoritms for autonomous onboard guidance of small satellites in deep space. His main interest are mission analysis, nonlinear astrodynamics, trajectory optimization and machine learning.
