Bio
Christian Hofmann is a PhD student in Aerospace Engineering and currently works on the autonomous guidance of interplanetary CubeSats. He holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Computer Science from the University of Wuerzburg in Germany. He worked as a research assistant at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and Zentrum fuer Telematik e. V. before he joined the DART group in November 2018. His research interests include astrodynamics, nonlinear optimal control, interplanetary CubeSats, space trajectory optimization and computational guidance and control.
