Andrea Nicali is a research assistant from Cinisello Balsamo (MI). He graduated in Aerospace Engineering (Bachelor) in 2023 and in Space Engineering (Master) in 2025 at Politecnico di Milano. His master thesis investigated the Monte Carlo Tree Search technique for goal-oriented path planning around small bodies. His research interests are autonomous guidance, nonlinear astrodynamics and trajectory optimization.
