Carmine Giordano has won a MSCA Fellowhip for the project CASTOR
Carmine Giordano, post-doc researcher at the Dart-Lab, is one of the 13 researchers at Politecnico di Milano who won the MSCA Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship, for the CASTOR (Challenging Autonomous Spacecraft through Trajectory Optimization with Robustness) project . The project will investigate autonomous GNC about asteroids and will be carried out in collaboration with NASA and ESA. Eleonora Andreis awarded Amelia Earhart Fellowship
Eleonora Andreis, PhD student in Aerospace Engineering at the Department of Aerospace Sciences and Technologies of the Politecnico di Milano, has been awarded with one of the 30 Amelia Earhart Fellowships provided by Zonta International for her research in autonomous navigation for deep-space CubeSats conducted at the DART Lab - Polimi under the supervision of Prof. Francesco Topputo. The Amelia Earhart Fellowship was established in 1938 in honor of famed pilot and Zontian, Amelia Earhart. The Fellowship is awarded annually to up to 35 women pursuing Ph.D./doctoral degrees in aerospace engineering and space sciences.
